DAYANITA SINGH (*1961) is one of the most important contemporary artists. Solo exhibitions include Serpentine Gallery, London; Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, or Art Institute of Chicago. In 2013, Singh, who was born in New Delhi, contributed to the German pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
