George Frideric Handel, born in the same year as Johann Sebastian Bach and Domenico Scarlatti, ranks among the most important composers of the Baroque era, alongside Bach and Scarlatti, Dieterich Buxtehude and Georg Philipp Telemann. His compositions for piano (or, in Handel's time, for harpsichord) are characterised by alternating homophonic and polyphonic styles. Easy suite movements are complemented by two easy arrangements from the composer's famous opera and oratorio works.Besetzung:piano
